Looking forward to 2021-22 season!

Hard to believe its here, but school has started, and that means lacrosse is just around the corner! Our Kickoff Meeting for 2021-22 will be Wednesday September 29 at 7:00pm in the Stratford HS Cafeteria.
Online registration for Stratford Girls Lacrosse via this website is now open! Just click on the red "Register Now" button on the right side of this page, or on the leftside click the Register Online button in the Home dropdown menu. You do not have to pay dues during registration, that is just an option. (note that you must pay USA Lacrosse membership, that is separate from SGL dues). If you don't want to pay dues yet, just click cancel when you get to the point in registration process where it asks you to enter your credit card info.

New for this year:  if you pay your dues all at once and by writing a check and submitted by October 8, you can take a $50 discount. Paying online via debit/credit card is of course still an available option (and can still pay in installments or the full amount all at once.

Fall offseason practices will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00p-6:30p starting on Monday October 4.
We look forward to seeing you at the kickoff meeting!

Great 2020-21 season for Stratford Girls Lax!

They finished 8-0 in district play, 8-3 overall, with the only lossed being to Division 1 teams. More importantly, they have punched their ticket to the TGHSLL 2021 State Championships, with a resounding 17-6 win over a scrappy St. Pius X team that ran into a buzzsaw in the D2 semifinals (the lacrosse equivalent of UIL regional semis). The Spartans were on fire in their first game ever to play at Tully Stadium (district football facility), and now await the winner of Katy and Gulf Coast Storm, whom we will host in the D2 championship game at Tully. Our ten seniors are ready to cap off their careers with a return trip to the state tournament!
Our JV team also had a great season!  They finished the season on top of D2 as well, with their only loss coming against Village School, which is a varsity caliber team playing down at JV level.
